Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts NDA examination two times in one year. The UPSC has released the official notification for NDA (2) exam. As per the official notification released, NDA (2) 2019 exam is scheduled to be held on November 17, 2019. The examination will — a for admission to the Indian Army, Air Force, and Naval Academies. Eligibility for NDA Examination
To fill NDA 2 application form candidate must be;
As per Educational Qualification:
- Qualifying Exam: The candidate must pass the 12th (10+2) or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
- Subjects: Candidate must clear the qualification exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Note: Physics and Mathematics are necessary for applying in Air Force and Navy wing.
As per Nationality:
- Candidates those belong to India/Nepal/Bhutan can apply.
- Candidates those migrated from Tibet to India before 1st January 1962 cab also apply.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply for NDA.
Note: The candidate from other countries other India must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the government of India.
As per Age Limit:
- Minimum: 16.5 Years
- Maximum: 19.5 Years
As per Physical Standards:
- Candidate should be physically and mentally fit according to the prescribed physical standards of the conducting authority.
- The candidate must possess good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability.
- Minimum height required is 157 cm for Army, Navy and Noval Academy while 162.5 cm for Air Force.
Note: A leverage of 5 cm is provided to Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North-Eastern regions.
As per Other Factors:
- Marital Status: Candidates must be unmarried to appear for the NDA 2019 examination.
- Gender: Only Male Candidates are eligible to apply for NDA 2019.

More details for Exam Pattern for NDA
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen paper mode).
- Two and a half hour (2 1/2 hours) will be provided for each paper.
- The question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi as well as in English.
- The question paper will be of Objective type (MCQs).
- The question paper will be of a total of 900 marks.
- There will be negative marking for the wrong answer.
Admit Card for NDA 2
To download the admit card, the candidate he needs to visit the official site of the UPSC or can use the below link. To view or download admit card candidate has to follow given steps:
Step 1: The candidate will have to visit the official website of UPSC or can use the below-given link (in the important links table) to download the NDA-II admit card.
Step 2: Click on the admit cards link given in the “What’s New” section.
Step 3: Now, select the mode through which you wish to download the admit card: using Registration Number or Roll Number.
Step 4: Enter the desired credentials and submit.
Step 5: Your NDA- II admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6: Now you may download and print your admit card.
Result for NDA
UPSC will publish the result for NDA written exam and SSB as merit list. The score and cut off will be published separately. The candidate can check the following after the announcement of the final result. Follow the steps given below to check NDA result 2019:

Step 2: Enter/ Submit the Roll Number, press enter.
Step 3: Now you can see the result and download.
Selection Procedure for NDA
The candidate has to clear the examination, After clearing the test he can appear for SSB/Interview. Candidates also have a stage where the medical testing will be conducted. The candidate has to physically and mentally fit for the recruitment.
