JEECUP 2019: UP Polytechnic Application Form, Examination

JEECUP Polytechnic 2019 (Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination) has been started from 20th December 2018. It is a state level entrance test conducted by the JEECUP. UP Polytechnic 2019 exam is conducted for admission in engineering, technology, pharmacy, and other diploma courses offered by polytechnic institutes in the state.

The question paper of JEECUP 2019 will be available in English and Hindi languages. The last date to submit the application is February 28, 2019.

Qualification Details for UPJEE Polytechnic 2019

Engineering & Technology Diploma The Candidate needs to have passed class 10 with minimum 35% marks Maths-50%

Age Limit Criteria for UPJEE Polytechnic 2019

There is no upper age limit, but the candidate needs to be no less than 14 years of age as on July 1, 2019. so the minimum age will be 14 years.

How to Apply for UPJEE Polytechnic 2019/ UPJEE Polytechnic Application form 2019

The application form of UPJEE/JEECUP 2019 has commenced in online mode from December 20, 2018, to February 28, 2019. The application form is available only through online mode no offline mode is available. The UPJEE/JEECUP Polytechnic 2019 application process will have the following steps:

  • Registration: The candidate will need a current email if and mobile number for registration. In the registration form, fill in name of the candidate as well as parents, Adhaar details, date of birth, contact details, and choose a password.
    Candidates can be permitted to fill only one application form in each shift of exam.
  • Filling of application form: After successful registration, the candidate must proceed to fill the application form with correct details/data – domicile, and academic qualification and category details. The candidate will also have to choose an exam center (s). Details in the application form should be filled as per the 10th class certificates.
  • Uploading of scanned documents: The candidate has to next upload scanned documents of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format.
  • Payment of application fee: The candidate has to next pay the application fee either through online or offline (e-challan). Payments through e-challan can be made at any branch of State Bank of India (e-challans can be generated at the online filing of the application form).

  • Application Submission: Submit the completed application form of UPJEE/JEECUP – Polytechnic and take a printout of the confirmation page.

  • The application fee will not be refundable.
  • Bank charges will also be added.
  • Fee payment can be done through online mode or e-challan of SBI bank.

UP Polytechnic Syllabus/ UPJEE Polytechnic Syllabus

  • The syllabus will be of 10th or 12th class standard.
  • Candidates must prepare for the exam as per officially prescribed syllabus.
  • For Diploma in Pharmacy, questions will be asked from physics, chemistry and biology/mathematics subjects.
  • For engineering, the syllabus will be comprised of mathematics, physics and chemistry subjects.

UP Polytechnic Exam Pattern/ UPJEE Polytechnic Exam Pattern

  • The mode of the exam will be pen-and-paper based (offline).
  • There will only be one paper with the test duration being 3 hours.
  • The question paper will include a total of 100 objective type questions.
  • Each question will carry four answer options, out of which only one will be the correct option. (MCQ-type)
  • Each correct answer will carry 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect attempt.
  • Questions will be asked in both English and Hindi language, with candidates having the option to choose any one of the two.
